Day 6 - Purple People Eater

The title of this drink might be lost on the younger generation, so I thought I'd share a link to the silly song this drink is based on.  As this Wikipedia article states, "The Purple People Eater is a novelty song written and performed by Sheb Wooley, which reached #1 in the Billboard pop charts in 1958 from June 9 to July 14, and reached #12 overall."

Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz. Captain Morgan Lime Bite
1/2 oz. blue Curacao
1 splash cranberry juice
1 splash Sprite
1 splash pineapple juice
Lemon
Lime

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker, mix rum and blue Curacao with splashes of cranberry juice, pineapple juice and Sprite. Shake vigorously; pour in a rocks glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and lime.
